YAZOO CITY — Troy Keith Barrett died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012. He was 47.

Mr. Barrett was born in Vicksburg. He was a welder and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Shawn Pruett Barrett of Yazoo City; a daughter, Makensy Grace Barrett of Yazoo City; three sons, Justin K. Barrett of Yazoo City and Jacob John Barrett and Travis Barrett, both of Vicksburg; stepdaughter, Chelcy Pruett of Yazoo City; stepson, Trey Pruett of Yazoo City; mother and stepfather, Lavern and Bobby Parker of Yazoo City; father, James Barrett of Yazoo City; a brother, Wayne Barrett of Marion, Ark.; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Stricklin-King Funeral Home with the Rev. John Parks officiating. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Yazoo City.
