Diédre Barret has been promoted to vice president of marketing for Guaranty Bank & Trust Company, said bank president and chief executive officer Huey Townsend.

She is a 1987 graduate of Manchester Academy in Yazoo City, attended Delta State University, and has completed studies at the American Bankers Association Bank Marketing and Management School.

She is a resident of Belzoni. She and her husband, Spencer, have three children, Susan Taylor, Spence and Kellum.
