A Warren County man accused of molesting a child was held without bail today.

Allen Herrington, 29, 89 Redhawk Road, was arrested at 4:32 p.m. Sunday and charged with molesting a child younger than 10, Sheriff Martin Pace said.

The family of the female victim reported the assault, which occurred at the home of a mutual friend, Pace said.

Herrington was held in the Warren County jail this morning awaiting his initial court appearance.
