Judith LaVerne Freeman

Judith LaVerne “Judy” Freeman died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. She was 70.
Born in Carrollton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. Gantz and Kathryn McAndrew Gantz. She was a graduate of Carrollton High School and was a veteran, serving in the Navy. Mrs. Freeman was a contract technician with the Corps of Engineers with 25 years of service. She and her husband owned and operated BBR Produce Inc.
Mrs. Freeman was a member of the Solid Rock Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by her husband, William H. Freeman; two daughters, Cindy M. Freeman and Mary C. Williams; three sons, Mark A. Freeman, Jesse Q. Freeman and Britt V. Stevens; 10 grandchildren, Michael A. Freeman, Cody Stevens, Desiree Moghaddasi, Donovan Moghaddasi, Seth C. Williams, Hailey J. Williams, Tysa Hazelwood, Chelsea Hazelwood, Rita Freeman and Lera Freeman; sister, Cheryl A. Miller; and brother, Gary Gantz.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Riles Funeral Home with Pastor Billy J. Talbert of the Solid Rock Pentecostal Church officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 tonight at Riles Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Mark Goodwin, Tim Stewart, Dane Stewart, Bobby Whitley, Billy Welch and Ramey Williams.
Memorials may be made to charities of choice.
