Three auto burglaries in city yield electronics, cash

Electronics and cash were missing this morning following three auto burglaries Tuesday in Vicksburg.

At 12:02 p.m., a Dell laptop computer valued at $900 and a Motorola cellphone valued at $100 were reported stolen from an unlocked 2013 Ford F-150 in the 1800 block of Main Street, police Capt. Bobby Stewart said.

At 7:08 p.m., $60 and an iPhone valued at $250 were reported stolen from an unlocked 1989 Mercedes in the 900 block of Walnut Street, he said.

At 11:21 p.m., a wallet valued at $100 and containing $30 was reported missing from a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado at Riverwalk Casino, 1046 Warrenton Road, he said.
