Man free on bail in embezzlement A Vicksburg man accused of stealing from his employer was free on bail this morning. Berry Henderson, 28, of Falk Steel Road, was arrested on a warrant for embezzlement at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday at his home, Vicksburg police Lt. Sandra Williams said. Henderson is accused of embezzling more than $4,000 from Newk’s Eatery, 3403 Pemberton Square Blvd., Williams said. He posted $5,000 bail and was released from the Warren County Jail. Tools, batteries missing in burglary Tools were missing this morning following a burglary on Howard Street. At 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, a Black & Decker power saw valued at $90, several battery packs with a combined value of $120, a Skilsaw valued at $120, an extension ladder valued as $200, and two electric heaters valued at $65 each were reported missing from a shed in the 800 block of Howard Street, Vicksburg police Lt. Sandra Williams said. Man held for probation violation A Port Gibson man accused of violating probation was held without bail this morning. Melvin Clark, of Pine Grove Road in Port Gibson, was held in the Warren County Jail this morning for the Mississippi Department of Corrections, according to jail records.
