Justin Henry baseball camp
The Justin Henry baseball camp is scheduled for Feb. 8 at Halls Ferry Park from 9 a.m. until noon. The camp focus is on basic baseball skills and is open to ages 6-12. The cost is $35 and the fee includes lunch. All proceeds from the camp will go to Vicksburg Family Development Service. Ole Miss Rebel Club Winter Meeting
The Central Mississippi Ole Miss Rebel Club will host its annual Winter Meeting on Thursday at the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame at 1152 Lakeland Drive in Jackson. Ole Miss baseball coach Mike Bianco and Ole Miss Spirit recruiting analyst Yancy Porter will be the featured speakers. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the main presentation will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m. Admission to the event is $25 for non-members.

Arrowhead Golf Bluffs Junior Classic
The Bluffs Junior Classic, a two-day, 36-hole tournament for junior golfers ages 11-18, is scheduled for Feb. 8 and 9 at the Bluffs Country Club in St. Francisville, La. The tournament is ranked by the Junior Golf Scoreboard and hosted by the Arrowhead Junior Golf Tour.

Junior high, JV basketball report
(G) Warren Central 49, Brandon 21 – T.T. Sims scored 13 points, while Asia Sims and D.D. Caldwell had 10 apiece to lead Warren Central Junior High past Brandon in the Little Six Conference Tournament opener. The Junior Lady Vikes (16-0) will play either Vicksburg or Madison Central in the semifinals, Friday at 4 p.m. at Pearl Junior High.
