Mary D. Gatling died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at the Promise Hospital. She was 83.
She was born and reared in Utica, and lived all her adult life in Vicksburg, where she was a member of First Baptist Church of Vicksburg.
Survivors include her daughter, Beth Stubbs of Fort Gibson, Okla.; four sons, Leslie Gatling and David Gatling both of Van Buren, Ark., Mike Gatling of Ridgeland, and Jody Gatling of Vicksburg; her brother, Wallace Dendy of Jackson; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Michael Gatling, Chris Gatling, Jacob Gatling, Judson Gatling, Cameron Burnham and Matthew Burnham.
