Andrew J. Nations

Andrew “Andy” J. Nations died Jan. 16, 2014, at his home in Washington, Pa. He was 40.

He was born in Vicksburg on March 12, 1973. He spent most of his youth in Vicksburg but lived briefly in Saudi Arabia and traveled extensively.

He was twice in the who’s who of American High School Students, and received a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University. He was active in politics, a history buff, and a Mason.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Darleane Wyatt Nations.

Survivors include a son, Hunter L. Nations; his father and stepmother, Francis C. Nations and Sharon Nations; and aunts, uncles and cousins in Vicksburg and Hattiesburg.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at Glenwood Funeral home with the Rev. Billy Talbert officiating. Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Gardens Cemetery
