Lena Mae Nickerson died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014 at her residence. She was 59.

Mrs. Nickerson was a mother of New Come and See Baptist Church in Port Gibson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Scott Nash, Sr. and Pearline Bell Nash; sisters, Edna Ruth Parker, Wilma Nash; brother, Scott Nash, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, John Nicholson of Vicksburg, MS; two daughters, Tina Qualls and Zel Odoms both of Vicksburg, MS; son, Anthony Nash of Vicksburg, MS; 3 step-daughters, Cretonia Nickerson, Khelli Lockridge both of Vicksburg, MS and Toni Nickerson of North Carolina; brother, Marcus Nash of Port Gibson; 3 sisters, Bobbie Jean Wesley of Vicksburg, MS, Emma Nash and

Angela Nash both of Port Gibson, MS; 18 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Services will 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Ingleside Cemetery in Port Gibson. Visitation will be 1-4 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.
