WINNSBORO, La. — Funeral services for Mr. George Osborn were held Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014.  Interment was at Harris Cemetery, under the direction of Young’s Community Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

Mr. Osborn was born on July 17, 1937, and passed from this life to be with his Lord on Feb. 12, 2014. He worked as a foreman at LeTourneau and at Cooper Lighting Co., and was in the United States Air Force for eight years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Maurine Osborn; sisters, Sue Dean and Nina Ann Curry; and brother Carey Rapp Osborn.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Thames Osborn; son, Thomas Osborn and wife Janell of Vicksburg; daughter, Kathy Davidson of Vicksburg; and grandson, T.J. Osborn of Vicksburg; brothers, James Osborn and wife Florece of Winnsboro, Millard Osborn and wife Barbara of Winnsboro, Jerry Osborn of Winnsboro, Jesse Osborn and wife Sherry of Pearl; and nieces and nephews.
