HOUSTON, Texas — Author “Poncho” Robinson Jr., a native of Utica and a resident of Houston, died on Feb. 19, 2014, in Houston. He was 32.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Beulah Bradley; paternal grandparents, Lee G. Robinson Sr. and Rosie Lee Robinson; and one sister, Annette Allen.
Survivors include his parents, Author Robinson Sr. and Johnnie Mae Robinson; siblings, Sylvia Robinson Harris, Lee Guster Robinson, Alexander Allen, Laura Britton, Gwendolyn Jones, Quianna Williams, LeKeisha Williams, Connie Pollard, Demetric Williams-Fisher, Dewayne Williams, and Wanda Williams-Rodgers.
Westhaven Memorial Funeral Home in Utica has charge of arrangements.
