Vicksburg High School’s Faye Quizzagan, a 17-year-old senior, was chosen as the school’s Head of the Class.
VHS Principal Deowarski McDonald said she embodies all the qualities faculty want to see in a student.
“She excels academically,” he said. “She exemplifies what it means to be a Gator.”

Vicksburg Junior High School’s Michael Sims, a 14-year-old eighth-grader, was chosen as the school’s Head of the Class.
VJHS Principal Otha Belcher Jr. said Sims is an outstanding student that was recently recognized for an impressive accomplishment.
“He was recognized by Congressman Bennie Thompson for scoring perfect on the state’s standardized tests,” he said.
