Man held for receiving stolen property

A Vicksburg man accused of pawning a stolen chainsaw was held in the Warren County Jail this morning.

At about 1:35 p.m. Wednesday, Georgire Benard, 58 who lives on Marguerite Drive, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen goods after he pawned a Stihl 16-inch chainsaw that was stolen, according to Warren County Sheriff’s records.

No bond was set.
