Hope Marie Versell Walton

Hope Marie Versell Walton died Feb. 27, 2014, at River  Region Medical Center. She was  44.  She was a member of the Bethlehem M.B. Church where she was a member of the choir, and  was employed as a case manager for Preventative Measures Programs in Tallulah, La.  She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her father Tommie Versell,
Survivors include son, Kenneth Walton Jr. of Edwards; daughter Fre’Maria Segrest of Edwards;  mother, Rose James Wilson of Vicksburg; brother, Robert Williams of Vicksburg; sister, Sandra Jones of Augusta, Ga.; and nieces, nephews, cousins and others.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Bethlehem M. B. Church with the Rev. Dennis J. Redden officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.
Visitation hour will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
