A Vicksburg man accused of having drugs in his car was being held in the Issaquena County Jail this morning.

At 4 p.m. Thursday, Victor Richardson, 33 who lives on Joyce Lane, was arrested during a traffic stop on Clay Street and Interstate 20 and charged with possession of crystal meth, said Vicksburg Police Lt. Sandra Williams.

Williams said that the Vicksburg Police Narcotics Division received a tip about Richardson possessing crystal methamphetamine.

No bond was set, pending an initial appearance.
