City teen held in shooting

A third teen accused of shooting into a vehicle at McDonalds on Iowa Boulevard was held without bail this morning.
Billdevon, Shelton, 17, who lives on Overlook Drive, surrendered at 3:15 p.m. Monday on a warrant for shooting into an occupied vehicle, Vicksburg police Lt. Sandra Williams said.
Shelton is accused of taking part of a shooting shortly after midnight March 1 at McDonalds, 2316 Iowa Blvd., Williams said.
Jamison Chiplin, 18, who lists the same address as Shelton, was arrested and charged with drive-by shooting on March 1, and DeMarquette Foster, 18, who live son Upland Drive, was arrested March 6.
Shelton was held without bail in the Warren County Jail this morning awaiting his initial appearance Wednesday in Vicksburg Municipal Court.

Elderly man charged with burglary
A 71-year-old man accused of burglary was held without bail this morning.
Joseph Hunt, 71, who lives on Mission 66, was arrested at about 9:30 p.m. Monday after police responded to a burglary in progress, Vicksburg police Lt. Sandra Williams said.
Hunt is accused of taking property from a home in the 1900 block of Main Street, and the property was recovered, she said.
Hunt was held without bail in the Issaquena County Correctional Facility this morning awaiting his initial court appearance.

Woman surrenders in forgery
A Vicksburg woman accused of forging checks was held without bail this morning.
Rachel Clark, 34, who lives on Highland Drive, surrendered at about 12:15 p.m. Monday and was charged with forgery, Vicksburg police Lt. Sandra Williams said.
Clark is accused of passing more than $2,000 in fake checks, and a criminal complaint was filed in October, Williams said.Clark was held without bail this morning in the Issaquena County Correctional Facility awaiting her initial court appearance.

Vicksburg man held for drug court
A Vicksburg man was held without bail this morning for drug court.
Justin White, 28, who lives on Meadowbrook Drive, was held in the Warren County Jail this morning for a drug court violation, according to jail records.
