IT COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE

Vicksburg firefighters respond to Dr. Robert M. Abraham’s dental office at 1909 Mission 66 on Tuesday afternoon where a “catastrophic electrical failure” caused a small fire in a room in the office, said Assistant Chief Craig Danczyk.  Abraham and others were still at the office when the fire started at about 6 p.m. and suppressed it with fire extinguishers until firefighters got to the scene, Danczyk said, adding “If this had been a midnight fire, this would have been much worse.”
