Danielle DeJuan Peoples

Danielle DeJuan Peoples, 15, passed away Friday, March 7, 2014, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
She was a member of New Mount Elem Baptist Church, where she was a junior usher and a former member of the Angels of Heaven Praise and Worship Ministry.
Upon her death, Danielle was also a member of I Can Fly Ministries’ Radical Praise for Christ. She was a former Girl Scout with Troop 5184, and was a sophomore at Vicksburg High School, where she was a track team manager.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Eddie Peoples, and her great-grandmother, Susie Lee Smith.
Survivors include her loving parents, Edward Peoples Sr. of Edwards, and Juanita McKenzie of Vicksburg; paternal grandmother, Mary Peoples of Edwards; maternal grandmother, Juanita McKenzie of Vicksburg; siblings, Jackie Peoples-Dorsey (Shawn), T’Nile Peoples-Claiborne (Kenny), Keisha Mobley, Edwin Peoples and Kontrell Tobias, all of Vicksburg, LaDonna Sanders of Edwards, Tosca Wright of Austell, Ga., Edward Peoples Jr. (Joan) of Douglasville, Ga., and Joshua Peoples, Elizabeth Peoples, and Genesis Peoples, all of Dallas; and uncles, aunts and cousins.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Travelers Rest Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Leonard Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
