Missy Gators win one, lose one

Vicksburg High came away with a split decision Saturday at the Wesson tournament.

The Missy Gators beat McComb, 4-3, in their first game of the day, then lost 6-2 to Lawrence County in their second game.

Chandler Ellis and Faith Thomas had three hits apiece on the day, while Torrey Daniels and Blake DeRossette had two. Thomas also drove in two runs.

The Missy Gators will host Raymond Monday night at 6:30.
