Faith Thomas pitched a two-hit shutout, and the Vicksburg Missyy Gators scored one run in the sixth inning and another in the seventh to beat Cleveland 2-0 Monday.

Thomas struck out seven batters in seven innings to lead Vicksburg (5-4) to the win.

Sydney Bufkin doubled to lead off the sixth inning, then scored on a throwing error on a ball hit by Morgan Callendar. Vicksburg added another run in the seventh on an RBI ground out by Blake DeRossette.
