Collie Jerry Neal III, a Vicksburg native and resident of Jackson, died March 13, 2014, at his home. He was 61.
He was a member of New Galilean M. B. Church of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Collie Jerry and Willie B. Taylor Neal.
Survivors include his sons, DeWayne James of Vicksburg, Collie Jerry Neal IV of Omaha, Neb., and  Reginald James of River Rouge, Mich.; daughters, Afrachanna Butler of Clinton, Glenda Calbert and De’Shawn Graves, both of Vicksburg, and Luscious Neal of Jackson; brothers Lorenzo Neal of Hawthorne, Calif., and Adam Neal and Craig Neal, both of Vicksburg; sisters, Mary Frances Johnson of Vicksburg and Tasha Neal-Griffin of Dallas; five grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014, at the Vicksburg Auditorium with the Revs. Orlando D. Franklin and Dr. Michael Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Second Union Cemetery in Utica under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. at New Galilean M. B. Church in Jackson.
