On March 14, 2014, William Warren “Bill” Womack passed away at the Cancer Treatment Center of America, Tulsa, Okla.

Bill was born and raised in Utica, and attended both Hinds Community College and Mississippi College.

After graduating college, he was employed at Ford Motor Credit Co. in Jackson for several years before returning to his hometown of Utica, where he began his lifelong love of farming. Bill was fondly called “Big Daddy” by the guys who worked for him and was so proud of each one of them. He was the most caring and generous man to all who were honored to know him.

Survivors include his wife, Paulette Womack; daughter, Morgan Elizabeth Womack; son, William Cody Womack; mother, Eleanor “Tibby” Skates Womack; and siblings, Robert (Cheri) Womack of Utica,  Judy (Dennis) Moritz of Natchez; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Cecil Womack, Brother, Charlie Cecil Womack, Jr. and nieces, Tracey and Katie Womack .

Visitation will be at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg on Saturday, March 22, 2014, from 11 a.m. until memorial services, which begin at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. George McFarland officiating.
