UTSA picked up four runs to lead off the eighth inning to lead the visiting Roadrunnners to a 4-1 Conference USA win over Southern Miss at Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field.

The Golden Eagles, which had a three-game winning streak snapped, took the early lead with a sacrifice fly in the fourth by Dylan Burdeaux. Southern Miss, though, had trouble getting hits with runners on base going 2-for-17 for the contest and leaving at least one runner on from the second through the eighth frame.
