Tools missing from construction site

Tools valued at thousands of dollars were missing this morning following a theft at a construction site in Vicksburg.
At 7 a.m. Tuesday, an assortment of tools including generators, saws, drills and batteries were reported stolen from a McInnis Electric construction site in the 1100 block of North Frontage Road, Vicksburg police Lt. Sandra Williams said.
The combined value of all the missing items is about $25,000 she said.
The largest item missing is a 10 by 6 trailer with license plate number 95394P, she said. The trailer is valued at $4,000.

Guns stolen in county burglaries
More than a dozen guns were missing this morning following seven burglaries reported Tuesday in Warren County.
The biggest of the haul for the burglars was 10 guns and a compound bow reported missing at 7:45 a.m. from a home in the 6200 block of Jeff Davis Road, according to Warren County sheriff’s records.
Missing are a Remington .308-caliber rifle, a Remington 20-gage shotgun, a Colt firearm of unreported make and caliber, a Beretta 12-gage shotgun, a Marlin .22-caliber rifle, a Marlin .22-caliber magnum, a Marlin .30-30 rifle, a Ruger .44-caliber magnum, a Kimber .45-caliber pistol, a Harrington & Richardson .35-caliber rifle and a Mathews compound bow.
At 7:28 a.m., a Kimber .45-caliber pistol valued at $1,500 was reported missing from a vehicle in the 300 block of Shannon Lane. At the same time, a Glock 9mm pistol was reported missing from a vehicle in the 400 block of Shannon Lane.
At 8:18 a.m., a 12-gage shotgun valued at $300 and a Remington 22-caliber rifle with scope valued at $200 and two camouflage masks with a combined value of $180 were reported missing from a 2008 Chevrolet truck in the 400 block of Silver Creek Drive.
Additionally, at 5:21 a.m., the owner of a Kia Sorento reported the vehicle had been broken into, but nothing was stolen.
At 7:04 a.m., a Fuelman gas card was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of Oak Ridge Road.
At 7:27 p.m., a purse valued at $400 and containing $100 was reported missing from a vehicle in the 100 block of Choctaw Circle.
