Eyes on the road, please

Every day, I pass the spot where a young man and young lady were killed on Fisher Ferry Road. Two other dear friends were also injured in the collision.
Months have passed, but I must compliment “someone” or several young people who keep the memorial, which instantly appeared at the wreck site, neat and clean.
Yesterday, I saw six people around the crosses cleaning the area, rearranging the monument and cutting the grass in the immediate area. Many people see this site every day, and I for one, view it and remember the sad ending of two lovely people. Even thought I didn’t know the two who were killed, I for one shall continue to remember them every time I pass the lovely little monument, and give thanks that my two lovely friends are still alive and well.
I can beg and plea that all who drive be especially careful, keep your eyes on the road, do not drink or use drugs, do not text, or use your cell phone except on the side of the road. Oh, you have heard this admonishment many times — but if observed, we would have two lovely vibrant young people and two others who are still in pain in great form and filled with the Lord’s blessings.
Please, please, please, do not become another cross on the highways of Warren County.
