SPANISH FORT, Ala. — Patrick Conreaux Chausse, age 27, a native of Woodbury, N.J., and a former resident of Vicksburg, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014.
He was a loving husband, son, brother, and uncle. He knew no bounds and loved to laugh and make others laugh with him, He was devoted to his family, honored his heritage, and was hoping to start a ministry to help displaced veterans. He was a graduate of Warren Central High School where he began his love of service in the Navy Junior-ROTC. He chose early on to serve His country with pride and honor. He was a U. S. Army veteran who proudly served two tours in Iraq. He loved God.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Amanda Johnson Chausse of Bay Minette, Ala.; father, William Chausse of Daphne, La.; mother, Heidi Chausse of Vicksburg; brothers, Joshua (Brandy) Chausse of New Orleans, and Daniel (Erin) Chausse of Oxford; nieces,  Sadie Chausse,  Araleigh Johnson and Annaleise Johnson; nephews, Roman Chausse and Anthony Johnson; mother and father-in-law, Arthur and Silvethe Johnson of White House Fork, Ala.; brothers-in-law, Arthur (Shannon) Johnson of Fairhope, Ala., Anthony (Vanessa) Johnson of Daphne; and loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, April 7, 2014, at 11a.m. at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne.
The family will receive friends Monday from 10 a.m. until time of the service.
Interment will follow at Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
The Rev. Tim Brown of First Presbyterian Church will officiate.
A military service is being held, with procession by the Patriot Guard Riders
