A Vicksburg woman awaiting trial for grand larceny and with two other criminal charges pending in Warren County was held by authorities again late Friday after she was caught on video placing an illegal substance, cash and cigarettes in a restroom at Warren County Jail.

Marissa Ann Morehead-Greco, 24, of Greenhill Drive, was arrested at 2:45 p.m. Friday after exiting a checkpoint in the Grove Street facility as visiting hours continued, Sheriff Martin Pace said.

Security video had showed her placing a package in a garbage receptacle while in the restroom, Pace said. A check of the package revealed 1 gram of crystal methamphetamine, four hypodermic needles, a pack of cigarettes and $45 in cash. She was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute inside a correctional facility.

No bond was set, pending an initial appearance Monday in Warren County Justice Court.

The grand larceny charge dates to April 2013. Additional charges on her record from earlier incidents include residential burglary for stealing Oxycontin and auto theft, Pace said, adding his office will request the court not set bond on Friday’s arrest.
