Daniel C. Jones died Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at River-Region Medical Center. He was 51.

He was born in Helena, Ark. on Oct. 5, 1962, and had lived in Vicksburg since 1982. He served in the Army National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard M. Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Angela J. Jones of Vicksburg; son, Christopher C. Jones of Vicksburg; mother, Monta Odell-Jones of Vicksburg; and sister, Linda Kay Johnson of Vicksburg.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2014, at Triumph Church. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church.

Pallbearers will be Michael Johnson, Greg Honeycutt, Jared Honeycutt, Matthew Norris, Mark Boykin, and Austin Johnson.
