Funeral services for Henry Earic Strong will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Robert L. Miller Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. There will be a visitation Friday, April 11, 2014, from 6 to 7 p. m.

Henry Earic Strong died Monday, April 7, 2014, at his residence following a brief illness. He was 57. He had worked for the MAT Sinking Unit and was a member of the China Grove M. B. Church #1.

He was preceded in death by is parents, Lincoln Brown and Annie Jane Strong; and a sister, Laura Strong.

He is survived by his wife Nellie N. Strong of Vicksburg; son Henry Nicholson of Vicksburg; six daughters Yvette Hyland, Wanda Robinson, Rea Thomas, Angela Nicholson, all of Vicksburg, Alisha McCline of Dallas, and Stephanie Baker of Minneapolis; nine grandchildren, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and others.
