Lawren Boolos had two hits and two RBIs, Jordan Lee drove in three runs, and Warren Central routed Brookhaven 12-3 on Thursday.

Kasy Cortezie had two hits and an RBI for the Lady Vikes (18-4), who blew the game open in the middle innings. After heading into the third inning with a 1-0 lead, WC scored four runs in the third, four in the fourth, and three more in the fifth.

Darby Gain was the winning pitcher for WC. She struck out 10 batters in a complete game.

Riverside 1, Vicksburg 0

Vicksburg High’s regular-season finale was a thriller, but also a loss. Riverside scored a run in the bottom of the ninth inning to earn a walk-off win Thursday.

The Missy Gators, who won the Division 4-5A championship, will have a first-round bye in the Class 5A playoffs. They’ll face the winner of a play-in series between Neshoba Central and Center Hill on April 28 and 29.
