Mary Annette Sims

Mary Annette Sims died at her home in Vicksburg Monday, April 28, 2014.  She was 54.

Born in Mississippi, she spent most of her life in Vicksburg, though she lived in Homestead, Fla., for 20 years working for the Ocean Resort.  She was also a member of the Homestead Church of Christ.  In Vicksburg, she was employed with Cook Tractor Co.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Arledge.

Survivors include her husband, Al Sims; son, Cliff Sims; mother, Jannette Ledbetter; stepfather, Walter Ledbetter; and a brother, Robert Arledge, all of Vicksburg.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2014, at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Burch officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service.

Pallbearers will be William Cook, Adam Cook, Russell Cook, Daniel Cook, Greg Bryan, and Bobby Baylot.  Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Ergon Mirror Lake, Ergon Maintenance Service, Ergon Refinery, and Cook Tractor Co.
