ROLLING FORK — Charlie Thomas of Anguilla died Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at Sharkey-Issaquena Hospital in Rolling Fork.

Survivors include his wife, Erma S. Thomas of Cameta; two sons, Gerald Sardin of Memphis, Tenn., and Calvin Reed of Mound Bayou; seven daughters, Brenda McCoy and Tina Reed, both of Anguilla, Charestine Sardin and Surless Sardin, both of Rolling Fork, Idella Sardin and Merlean Shade, both of Dallas, Ga., and Quezee Sardin of Sacremento, Calif.; a sister, Annie Bell Shell of Anguilla; 23 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Chapel of the Cross Church in Nitta Yuma. Burial will be at Nitta Yuma Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell L. Walker Funeral Home of Rolling Fork.

Visitation will be today from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
