Daylon Carter, infant, died Tuesday, May 5, 2014, at River Region Medical Center.

Survivors include his mother, Dardreka Thomas of Vicksburg; father, Dennis Carter Jr. of Port Gibson; maternal grandparents, Shirley Simmons of Vicksburg and Dwayne Thomas of Port Gibson; paternal grandparents, Dennis and Ruth Carter of Port Gibson; and aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles and other relatives and friends.

Services will be 6 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Springhill Cemetery in Port Gibson under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Port Gibson with the Rev. Ray Coleman officiating.
