Anna Thelma Chamblee

Mrs. Anna Thelma Chamblee passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014, at Covenant Health and Rehab in Vicksburg. She was 85.
Mrs. Chamblee was born in Carbon Hill, Ala. She lived in Baker, La., where she and her husband owned City News Stand in Baton Rouge, La. She lived the past eight years in Vicksburg, and was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Monroe Chamblee, and two children.
She is survived by two sons, Jim Chamblee of Vicksburg and Glen Chamblee of Baton Rouge; grandchildren Jason, Travis and Jacquelyn Chamblee, Sonja (Michael) Stewart, Tonja (Guy) Daigle, Dustin Chamblee (Kacie Lejeune); great-grandchildren, Amber and Austin Stewart, Holden and Madisyn Daigle, and Sumer Chamblee.
Visitation will be 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. today at Glenwood Funeral. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at Green Oaks Cemetery in Baton Rouge, with the Rev. Jim Sturn officiating.
Pallbearers are Jason Chamblee, Travis Chamblee, Dustin Chamblee, Michael Stewart, Guy Daigle, Bryan Bond and Daryl Ford.
