Barry W. Robinson Sr.

Barry W. Robinson Sr. died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, at his home. He was 50.

Born in Shreveport, La., he was the son of the late Tommy Robinson and Nancy Smallwood Robinson. Barry was a resident of Vicksburg most of his life. He was employed as a truck driver for United Rentals at the time of his death. He was a member of the Boler Hunting Club and attended the Edwards United Methodist Church and Bovina United Methodist Church.

He is survived by a son, Wayne Robinson Jr. of Edwards; sister, Rita Hardy of Edwards; brother, Larry Robinson (Linda) of Charleston; ex-wife, Lisa Robinson of Edwards; and other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, at Riles Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday from 9 a.m. until the service.  Burial will be at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Danny Robinson, Anthony “Bubba” Hardy, Michael Uzzle, B. J. James, Charles Turner, Lee Little, Allen Thomas and William Smallwood.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lawrence A. “Larkey” Rainey, Morris Ratliff, Sonny Edwards, Michael Robinson, Billy “Bubba” James, Adam Mason, Michael Lynn, Jimmy Fairchild, Trace Ramage, Jose Saldana and employees of United Rentals.
