PORT GIBSON — Kawana Williams died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, in Claiborne County. She was 33.

Ms. Williams is survived by a special friend, Jerry Johnson of Port Gibson; two sons, Jerry Johnson Jr. and Jaron Johnson, both of Port Gibson; her mother, Hester Williams of Lorman; two brothers, Melvin Williams of Jackson, and Robert Lee Smith of Lorman; paternal grandmother, Mamie Jackson of Roxie; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends, including special friends, Andrea Burrell and Lenatra Gray, both of Vicksburg, Darlene Grayson of Fayette, and Vanessa Johnson of Port Gibson.

Services for will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014 at East Mount Olive M.B. Church in Redlick, with the Rev. Columbus Felton officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Port Gibson.

Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home, and Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the service.
