David Curtis “Butch” Pettway of Vicksburg died Saturday Sept. 6, 2014. He was 58.

Born in Yazoo County, he lived in Vicksburg most of his life, and was a truck driver for Vicks Metal Co.

He was preceded in death by his father, James David Pettway.

Survivors include his two daughters, Veronica Pettway of Vicksburg and Kelsie Pettway Dombrowski of Brandon; one brother, Clyde Pettway of Vicksburg; mother, Gladys Hearn Pettway of Vicksburg; and one grandson.

A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014, at Ridgeway Baptist Church.
