Ruth Ann Jones died Friday, Sept. 5, 2014, at River Region Medical Center. She was 71.

Born and raised in Macdale, W.Va., she lived a number of years in Chicago before moving to Vicksburg in 1995. She was a member of Immauel Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Lawrence Jones of Vicksburg and Thomas David Jones of Keosha, Wis.; two sisters, Fern Crabtree of Panther, W.Va., and Betty Shiftlett of Tenn.; a brother, Jimmy Lockheart of Panther, W.Va.; grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Glenwood Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
