The engagement of LaWanda Tolliver to Dwayne Thomas, both of Vicksburg, is announced today.
Miss Tolliver is the daughter of Martha Lewis of Vicksburg and Robert and Arlean Lewis of New Orleans. She is the granddaughter of the late Johnny Williams and the late Ola Mae Williams.
Mr. Thomas is the son of the late Myrtis Austin Green and the late Larry Thomas. He is the grandson of The late Joseph Austin, Sr. and the late Alice Austin.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Warren Central High School where she was a member of FBLA, FTA, and DECA. She attended Alcorn State University majoring in Business Administration.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Vicksburg High School. He attended Alcorn State University majoring in Business Administration.
Vows will be exchanged at 4 p.m. Nov. 8, 2014 at Cedar Grove M.B. Church.
A reception will follow at The Treehouse.
