With a month and five games left in the regular season, the Vicksburg Gators still have ample opportunity to put together a playoff push.

Their chance to make a statement as one of the top teams in Region 2-5A, however, vanished in a hurry Friday night.

Germantown scored three touchdowns in a six-minute span in the second quarter and remained undefeated by routing Vicksburg 45-14.
