Miss Harper marries Mr. Johnston Aug. 9

Hugh Johnston III and Sara Harper, both of Brandon, were married at 5 p.m. Aug. 9, 2014 at Woodlawn Baptist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Jack and Karen Faulk Williams and Ken and Terri Harper, all of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Vivian and the late Alfred Faulk and the late Agnes and Jack Harper.
The groom is the son of Joan and the late Hugh L. Johnston Jr.
Rev. Kent Campbell officiated at the ceremony.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride’s chosen colors were pink and gray.
Tiffany Lea Malpass of Brandon served as matron of honor.
Haley Terry Teague of Asheville, North Carolina, Adrian McHan of Daphne, Alabama, Brooklyn Johnston Neely of Pearl, and Michelle Lee of Raymond were the bridesmaids.
April Lee and Kadie Lee of Raymond were the junior bridesmaids.
Angelina Johnston of Brandon served as the flower girl.
Tim East of Jackson was the best man.
Jason Williams of Madison, Kyle Himmel, Matt McCain, Clint Hatch, all of Brandon, were the groomsmen.
John Williams of Florence, Alabama, Starr Williams of Starkville, and Chris Williams of Virginia Beach, Virginia served as the ushers.
Music was presented by Jack Harper, Tim Goodson, and Virginia Steen Miller.
A reception followed at The Bazsinsky House.
For a wedding trip, the couple went to Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
The couple will make their home in Brandon.
The bride is employed at The Partnership for a Healthy Mississippi. The groom is a Police Officer with Flowood Police Department.
