PORT GIBSON — Services for Alice Mae “Bossie” Lowe were Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at Greater St. Mark Baptist Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Barry Thompson officiating. Burial was at McCaa Cemetery under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home of Port Gibson.

Ms. Lowe died Oct. 11, 2014 at Claiborne County Hospital. She was 90.

She was a resident of Port Gibson and a retired custodian from Grand Gulf Inn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Coleman and Stella Gardner, and a son, Bobby Lowe.

Survivors include two sons, Thomas Lowe of Jackson and Carl Lowe of Grayson, Ga.; two daughters, Shirley Lowe of Buffalo, N.Y., and Deborah Hill of Arlington, Texas; a brother, Jalbo Coleman of Oakland, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
