Funeral services for Indiana Jenkins will be 1 p.m.  Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014, at Greater Grove Street M. B. Church with the Rev. James Archer officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.
Ms. Jenkins died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, at her home. She was 78.
She was retired from Mercy Regional and Parkview Medical Centers, and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie and Dorothy Willis Jenkins; son, Calvin Jenkins; brothers, Mack Jenkins and Andrew Lee Jenkins; and sisters, Rosie Jenkins and Dorothy Jenkins.
Survivors include four sons, Alvin Jenkins, Gregory Jenkins, Kevin Jenkins and Tyrone Jenkins, all of Vicksburg; three daughters, Vernita Tubbs and Lubertha Jenkins, both of Vicksburg, and Patricia J. Jackson of Columbus, Ga.; two brothers, James Jenkins and L. C. Jenkins, both of Vicksburg; seven sisters, Minerva Allen, Linda Smith, Josephine Robinson, Eliza McRunnells and Viola Dixon, all of Vicksburg, Betty Burks of Las Vegas, and Cora Thirston of Chicago; nine grandchildren; and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
