German Eubank Jordan

GULF SHORES, Ala. — German Eubank Jordan, born in Newport News, Va., Dec. 29, 1941, died Friday, Oct. 31, 2014, of a massive heart attack in his home.

German was preceded in death by his parents, Hildah Powell and German Eubank Jordan.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judy Florian Jordan; his daughter, Ashley Jordan Reder and son-in-law, Thomas E. Reder of Cypress, Texas; his son, German Eubank (Bank) Jordan III of Houston, Texas; and his grandchildren, Ann Florian Reder and Powell Eubank Jordan.

German will be remembered as a loving and wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend.

He was a member of Holy Spirit Episcopal Church of Gulf Shores.

A Memorial Service was today, Nov. 4, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in Gulf Shores followed by a reception at the church.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in Winchester, Va.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, the American Heart Association, or a charity of choice.
