The biggest Egg Bowl in history will air in the Southeastern Conference’s prime television spot.

The league announced Monday that the rivalry game between No. 1 Mississippi State (9-0, 5-0 SEC) and No. 10 Ole Miss (8-2, 4-2) will air on CBS at 2:30 p.m.

Ole Miss’ next game, on Nov. 22 at Arkansas, will also air in the 2:30 time slot on CBS as the network’s “SEC Game of the Week.” It’s the first time the Rebels have played back to back games in the SEC’s featured television window since 2010.

The Egg Bowl will be Mississippi State’s fourth appearance this season on CBS. The Bulldogs have already played Auburn and Kentucky in that time slot, and will face No. 4 Alabama at the same time this weekend.

Mississippi State’s home game against Vanderbilt on Nov. 22 will kick off at 6:30 p.m. and air on either the SEC Network or ESPN.
