PORT GIBSON — Mary Lee Johnson died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at River Region Medical Center. She was 90.
Mrs. Johnson was a member and mother at Second Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy Willis and Blanche Young.
Survivors include her husband, James Johnson Jr. of Port Gibson; two sons, James Johnson III of Southfield, Mich., and Jerry Lee Johnson of Gautier; three daughters, Janice M. Powell of Gautier, and Marian Wilson and Deborah Locke, both of Moss Point; seven brothers, Roosevelt Willis of Flint, Mich., Robert Dowery of Vicksburg, and Franklin Willis, Charles Willis, Samuel Willis, Leroy Willis Jr. and Carl E. Willis, all of Indianapolis; four sisters, Rosetta Marshall, Gertrude Wilson and Doris DeBerry, all of Indianapolis, and Dorothy Nickelson of Fort Wayne, Ind.; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Services for will be 11a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, at Second Baptist Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Leon Nelson officiating. Burial will be at Mercy Seat Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home Inc. of Port Gibson.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home, and Thursday at the church from 10a.m. until the service.
