PORT GIBSON — Jerry D. Moore died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2014, at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. He was 49.

Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Thelma Frye Moore Sr.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Moore of Port Gibson; a daughter, Connie Taylor of Jackson; three stepsons, Ricky Nicholson and Johnny Ray Nicholson, both of Springdale, Ark., and Allen Nicholson of Utica; four stepdaughters, LaTridia Chambers, Yotina Jefferson and Theresa Odoms, all of Vicksburg, and Tamecca Smallwood of Atlanta; four brothers, Earnest Frye Sr. of Waldorf, Md. Larry Frye of Natchez, Mack Moore Jr. of Brookhaven, and Gary Moore of Denver; three sisters, Carol Moore-Anderson of Terry, Serena Moore of Memphis, and Seprena Moore of Oxon Hill, Md.; three uncles, three aunts, 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, at Pine Grove Christian Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. James Devine officiating.

Burial will be at White Hall Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home Inc. of Port Gibson.

Visitation will be Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home, Monday at the church from 1 p.m. until the service.
