Vicksburg man accused in two burglaries

A Vicksburg man faces multiple theft charges in connection with two December burglaries, Vicksburg Police Lt. Troy Kimble said.

Demarcus Sentell Spencer, 28, 1201 Farmer St., was being held without bond at the Issaquena County Correctional Facility.

He is accused of taking electronics, clothing, game consoles and Air Jordan shoes from a home in the 2900 block of Park Avenue on Dec. 12, and the Dec. 29 burglary of Rent-A-Center, 2200 Clay St. in which electronics, laptop computers, cell phones and TVs.

Kimble said video taken during the Rent-A-Center led to Spencer’s arrest, adding investigators found items taken in the Dec. 12 burglary at his wife’s home. He said the investigation is continuing and more charges could be added.
