Nora Self Ainsworth died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto in Hernando. She was 77.
Born in Sharkey County, she lived most of her life in Vicksburg where she retired from Bell South Telephone Co. For the past seven years, she had been making her home in Hernando where she attended Parkway Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Miley Ainsworth and his wife Dianne of Hernando; her sister, Ruth Janes of Monroe, LA; two grandchildren, Dana Ainsworth of Southaven, and Kimberly Ainsworth Boyer and her husband, Samuel, of Nashville; her great-grandson, Henry Ainsorth Boyer of Nashville and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, 2015, at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Rob White officiating. Visitation will be at Glenwood Funeral Home from 11 a.m. Monday until the hour of the service.
Pallbearers will be Samuel Boyer, Douglas Cranford, Bobby Kirkham, Chuck Janes, David Janes and Wade Janes.
